This challenging hiking route will take you along the beautiful Sentier du Grand Arc, located in the picturesque surroundings of Champenay. The trail covers a total distance of 7.521 kilometers with an elevation gain of 847 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the Parking de Champenay, where you can conveniently leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Just a short distance away, you'll find the Abri de Champeney, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views.

Further along the trail, at about 2.84 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Refuge du Marret, a wilderness hut where you can rest and refuel. As you continue, you'll pass by refreshing water sources at 3.76 kilometers into the hike.
