This challenging 11.5-kilometer hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to the beautiful Lac de Clartan. The trail starts at a parking area and immediately immerses you in the natural beauty of the area. About 0.21 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a picturesque spring, providing a refreshing stop along the way.
As you continue on, at the 0.61-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Pont de la Scie, a historic landmark where you can take in some information about the area. Further along, at 2.12 kilometers, you'll find the Alpage du Tour, another informational point along the trail.
At the 2.36-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the Chalet du Tour, a wilderness hut that offers a cozy retreat for hikers. This is a great spot to rest and recharge before continuing on your journey. Midway through the hike, at around 5.32 kilometers, you'll find a drinking water source to replenish your supplies.
