This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Traccia Ghiacciaio Basei per l'anticima. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 3.947 kilometers and an elevation gain of 171 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately at the 1.49 kilometer mark, you will find a water source located just off the trail. As you continue further, at around 1.55 kilometers into the hike, there is another water source conveniently located right on the trail. Around 1.97 kilometers into the hike, there is yet another water source for you to refill your supplies.
One of the highlights of this route is the Rifugio Savoia, an alpine hut located at the starting point of the trail, providing a perfect resting spot or accommodation option for hikers. Additionally, at 0.1 kilometers into the hike, there is a cafe where you can grab a refreshment before or after your trek.
As you make your way back, you will pass by a parking area located right on the trail at the beginning. At around 1.63 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area. Further along at 0.05 kilometers, another information point awaits to provide you with interesting details about the surroundings.
Towards the end of your hike, at approximately 1.44 kilometers, there is a peak that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
