The Nesselberg hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at the trailhead and leading to the Nesselberg peak.
As you begin your journey, you'll come across a parking area just a short distance from the starting point. Continuing on, after about 0.01 kilometers, you'll reach the Ursprung information point, where you can learn more about the area.
Around 2.32 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Mariandlalm restaurant and alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and refuel before continuing your ascent. Further along the trail at 3.09 kilometers, you'll encounter several historical boundary stones, adding a touch of local history to your hike.
Throughout the route, you'll also come across several benches for resting, with the closest one located at 0.33 kilometers from the start. Make sure to stay hydrated by using the drinking water facilities available at 2.12 kilometers into the hike.
At approximately 3.09 kilometers into the trail, you'll reach the Nesselberg peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take your time to soak in the scenery before heading back on the same route.
