This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Rote Spitze peak in the picturesque area. The trail spans a total distance of 8.066 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1067 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks as the trail can be demanding.

About 2.97 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by Gschrittsee, a beautiful water feature located slightly off the trail. This is a great spot to take in the serene surroundings and rest for a bit before continuing on towards the peak.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.03 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Rote Spitze peak. Take some time to appreciate the panoramic views of the surrounding area before heading back.

On your way back, at around 2.97 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Wangeslenke, a saddle point along the trail that provides a unique vantage point of the landscape.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across informational points and drinking water sources to keep you informed and hydrated along the way.
