This extremely difficult 20.839-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the Lerchkogel area. The trail starts at the Forsthaus Aquila alpine hut and offers stunning views along the way.

At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by the Lerchkogel peak, located approximately 10.15 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in the panoramic views of the surrounding area. As you continue on the trail, you will come across several benches where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will find informative signs providing details about the area's history and landmarks. These points of interest are located at distances ranging from 4.67 to 9.09 kilometers from the start.

On the way back, you will pass by a wayside shrine and a memorial dedicated to Georg März. These are situated approximately 6.57 and 4.67 kilometers from the start, respectively.

It is important to note that this hike is extremely difficult, with a total elevation gain of 848 meters. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear.
