Hiking : Obere Euschels

This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Obere Euschels. The 6.755-kilometer trail offers a challenging experience with an elevation gain of 549 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Dorfbrunnen, a drinking water spot just 0.16 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail at 0.28 kilometers, you'll find another drinking water point for refilling your bottles.

At the beginning of the hike, you will also pass by the parking area at 0.0 kilometers, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the adventure. Continuing on, you'll encounter the Cascade de Jaun waterfall, a picturesque natural wonder located 0.06 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach Ritzlialp, an alpine hut situated 2.84 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to take a break, refuel, and enjoy the breathtaking alpine views.

Towards the end of the trail, at 3.38 kilometers, you'll reach Obere Euschels, another alpine hut that marks the turnaround point of the out-and-back route.
