This difficult 10.644-kilometer circular hiking route in the Kleines Degenhorn area offers stunning views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers.

Starting at the Volkzeiner Hütte, you will pass by the Ochsenlenke saddle and the Degenhornsee lake, located midway through the hike. Make sure to fill up your water bottles at the various water sources along the way, such as the Schrentenbachboden and other natural water spots.

As you trek through the trail, you will encounter the Kleines Degenhorn peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. At 2.67 kilometers from the start, you can also view the beautiful waterfall along the path.

For those interested in a break, the Degenhorn parking area is located at the beginning of the trail. Additionally, there are informational points like the Ochsenlencke and other viewpoints scattered throughout the hike.
