This hiking route will take you to Monte Limidario, a peak with stunning views in the area. The total distance of the hike is 9.763 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1052 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take around 4 hours and 53 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the parking area at the beginning of the trail. You will then pass by Mergugno, an information point just 0.03 kilometers from the start, where you can learn more about the area. Further along the trail, at 2.73 kilometers from the start, you will find another information point.
Approximately 2.86 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio Al Legn, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, at the same distance, is Capanna Al Legn, another resting spot along the trail.
Continue onwards, and at 3.62 kilometers from the start, you will reach Bocchetta di Valle, offering a picturesque view of the surroundings. As you get closer to the peak, you will pass by Monte Fumadiga, located 3.42 kilometers from the start.
Finally, after a challenging hike, you will reach Monte Limidario, the highest point of the trail at 4.88 kilometers from the start. Take in the breathtaking views from the peak before heading back the same way you came.
