This hiking route will take you to the majestic Monte Faierone, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a total distance of 8.917 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1431 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning, you will find parking areas for your convenience. As you progress, you will come across the ruins of Alpe Pizzocca, a historic site located 1.71 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, you will reach Monte Faierone itself at 4.46 kilometers, where you can enjoy panoramic views from the peak.
On your return journey, make sure to stay hydrated by utilizing the drinking water stations conveniently located along the trail. Additionally, there are wayside shrines and information points scattered throughout the route, adding to the experience.
