This extremely difficult 18.73-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Diedamskopf area. With an elevation gain of 1200 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure you are well-prepared with enough water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear before setting out.
The trail begins with a gentle start, passing by a couple of benches for you to catch your breath and enjoy the serene surroundings. Around 3.64 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a bench where you can take a short break. As you continue onwards, at around 5.48 kilometers, you will find a parking area.
Around the midway point, at 8.64 kilometers, you will reach the Panoramarestaurant, where you can refuel with some delicious food to energize yourself for the rest of the hike. Further along the trail, at 8.91 kilometers, you will encounter the peak of Diedamskopf, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
For the adrenaline junkies, there are free-flying start points along the trail at various distances from the start. These are perfect spots for paragliding enthusiasts to take off and soar through the skies.
As you make your way back, at 8.77 kilometers, you will find another bench to rest your legs. Towards the end of the hike, at 8.85 kilometers, there is a bench where you can relax and take in the final views before completing the challenging journey.
