This extremely difficult 13.06-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning wilderness of the area, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain.
Starting at Parking du Laus, the trail leads you on a journey towards various points of interest. Along the way, you will come across informative spots such as information points and viewpoints that provide insight into the surroundings. Make sure to stop by Pas du Lausson, a beautiful natural saddle located at 4.25 kilometers from the start, where you can take in the panoramic views.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Montagne de l'Avalanche, a natural peak offering a mesmerizing sight. The route also includes a visit to the Cabane du pêcheur wilderness hut, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Keep an eye out for the Source du Chadoulin spring at 1.46 kilometers from the start, where you can replenish your water supply.
Refuge du Lac d'Allos, an alpine hut located at 2.08 kilometers from the start, provides an opportunity to take a break and indulge in some local cuisine. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Tête du Lac peak, offering a challenging climb and rewarding views.
As you approach the end of the hike, be sure to visit Tour Orientale, a prominent peak in the area.
