This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Sommet de la Frema, located in a picturesque area. The trail covers a distance of 9.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1083 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
As you start your journey, you will come across the La Lance information point approximately 1 kilometer into the hike. This is a great spot to learn more about the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.64 kilometers from the start, you will find the Gîte Retrouvance de la Fruchière, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the serene environment.
Continuing onwards, at the 1.98-kilometer mark, you will pass by a beautiful spring, offering a refreshing stop along the way. At 4.75 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the highlight of the journey, Sommet de la Frema, a peak with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
On your way back, you can take a short detour to visit the Pont de la Serre, located just 50 meters from the trail. Additionally, the Le Bois Noir information point is a great spot to gather more insights about the area, situated just 0.02 kilometers from the start.
