Located in the Jallorgues Haute Sud area, this extremely difficult 15.5 km out-and-back hiking route offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 961 meters, this trail will push your limits and reward you with stunning views along the way.
Starting at the parking area, you will embark on the trailhead and pass by an information point at the beginning of the hike. Around 0.5 km into the hike, you will come across another information point, providing you with interesting insights about the area.
As you continue onward, at the 4.5 km mark, you will find a beautiful waterfall, where you can take a break and admire the cascading waters. Moving forward, at the 6.5 km point, you'll reach the Col de Gialorgues saddle, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
Throughout the hike, it's important to stay hydrated, especially as you approach the midway point where there is a water source located 7.76 km into the trail. Additionally, make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out, as the terrain can be challenging and unpredictable.
