This extremely difficult 15.518 km out-and-back hiking route in the Jallorgues Haute Sud area offers a challenging experience for seasoned hikers. With an elevation gain of 961 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the parking area located at the trailhead, hikers will embark on a journey that will take them through diverse terrain. Along the way, at about 0.44 km from the start, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area. As you continue, at 0.91 km mark, another information point will provide you with valuable insights.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.48 km from the beginning, you will encounter a stunning waterfall, offering a rewarding stop to rest and enjoy the scenery. Further along, at 6.5 km mark, you will reach Col de Gialorgues, a notable saddle in the area. Here, you can take a moment to appreciate the surroundings before pushing on.
Towards the end of the trail, around 6.76 km mark, there is a water point where you can refill your supplies. Additionally, at about 0.5 km away from the end, there is another information point to explore.
