This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Cabane Pastorale de l'Encombrette and Col de l'Encombrette in the Mercantour-Argentera region. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 12.394 kilometers and an elevation gain of 609 meters, making it extremely difficult in terms of difficulty.

Starting at Parking du Laus, you will begin your journey towards the stunning Lacs de l'Encombrette, which are located approximately 6.07 kilometers from the start of the trail. Along the way, you will pass by the Cabane Pastorale de l'Encombrette, a wilderness hut that is perfect for a rest stop and is situated about 5.89 kilometers from the start.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Abri de l'Encombrette shelter, located around 5.82 kilometers from the start, providing a cozy spot to take a break. Further on, you will encounter the Col de l'Encombrette, a beautiful saddle point that marks the midpoint of the hike, approximately 4.43 kilometers from the start.
