The 11.592 kilometers long trail starts at a parking area and passes by Hotel Ambro, where you can find sustenance at the restaurant. As you continue, you will also come across Il Chioschetto nel bosco, another restaurant along the way.
As you hike further, at just 0.06 kilometers from the start, you'll find Osteria del nonno, a bar where you can take a break and refresh yourself. About 1.48 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Fonte Cupa, a natural spring where you can refill your water bottle.
The main highlight of this hike is reaching Il Pizzo, a peak situated at 5.8 kilometers from the start. The views from the top are breathtaking and worth the effort it takes to get there. Remember to bring enough water, as the trail can be challenging, with an elevation gain of 1065 meters.
