This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the beautiful Lac des Merdeux. Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey towards the lake, which is located about 6.24 kilometers from the starting point. Along the way, you'll pass by another body of water, Lac des Merdeux, which is situated at around 6.15 kilometers from the start.

As you continue on the trail, you'll come across a shelter around 5.33 kilometers from the start, providing a resting spot for hikers. For those looking to stay overnight, the Rifugio Pier Giorgio Frassati alpine hut is located approximately 6.22 kilometers from the starting point.
