Welcome to the hiking route to La Mota Grande!
This 11.01-kilometer difficult trail will take you through a scenic area with an elevation gain of 524 meters. Make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for this challenging adventure.
Starting off at the Área recreativa de Angustina, you'll pass by Antiguas escuelas de Angustina, an old historic site just 0.06 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 2.84 kilometers, you'll encounter a natural water feature at 144326295.
As you continue on, at 3.66 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the stunning peak of Peñal de Brenas (264953173). This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the panoramic views.
Around the 5.45-kilometer mark, off the trail a bit, you'll find the Torca de las Motas 5, a natural cave entrance (861258174). Just a bit further at 3.59 kilometers, Fuente Pirujo (8482711624) is a refreshing spring where you can refill your water bottles.
Heading back towards the start, you'll pass by El Canto Partido peak (270764872) at 0.99 kilometers and a wayside shrine at 0.3 kilometers from the start (1268698001).
