This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the stunning Muntanitz area, covering a distance of 27.221 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2125 meters. The total duration for this challenging hike is approximately 11 hours and 36 minutes.

Starting off, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. As you make your way along the trail, approximately 10 kilometers in, you'll encounter a beautiful water feature that provides a refreshing spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty. Further along the path, at around the 13-kilometer mark, you'll reach the peaks of Kampl, Kleiner Muntanitz, and Muntanitz, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

During your journey, be sure to stop by the Sudetendeutsche Hütte at the 10-kilometer mark, where you can refuel and recharge before continuing on your hike. Additionally, make a point to visit the Nussingscharte saddle at the 8-kilometer mark for another stunning viewpoint along the trail.

As you approach the latter part of the hike, at around the 12-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Wellachköpfe peaks, both the Südgipfel and Nordgipfel, offering a challenging yet rewarding climb to the top.

This out-and-back trail culminates at the Muntanitz destination, providing a sense of accomplishment and a memorable hiking experience. Remember to bring an adequate water supply, proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this demanding adventure.
