This challenging hiking route to Hochgasser offers stunning views and a variety of natural attractions along the way. The trail spans 11.793 kilometers with an elevation gain of 935 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous trek that will take approximately 5 hours to complete.

Starting off at the parking space, the trail gradually ascends, passing by the picturesque Grausee and Schwarzsee lakes, which are great spots to take a break and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Keep an eye out for the Grünseehütte wilderness hut, which offers a cozy place to rest and refuel before continuing your journey.

As you venture further along the trail, you'll come across the idyllic Grünsee, although it's slightly off the main path. It's worth a short detour to admire the clear waters and peaceful ambiance of this hidden gem.
