This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with varying terrain and beautiful views. The route is an out-and-back type, with the destination being Colle Bassete. The total distance of the hike is 12.328 kilometers with an elevation gain of 682 meters, making it extremely difficult.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area within 15.7 meters from the trail. About 100 meters further, there is La Capanna restaurant where you can stop for a meal or refreshments.

Along the trail, at a distance of 3.39 kilometers from the start, you will find Fonte Gorga, a natural spring to refill your water bottles. There are also information points at 0.08 and 0.09 kilometers from the start to guide you along the way.

As you continue on the trail, you will reach Monte Castel Manardo, a peak located 5.3 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Another peak, Scoglio del Montone, can be found at 5.89 kilometers from the start.

Further along the route, at 6.16 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Colle Bassete peak, which marks the turnaround point of the hike.

It is important to note that there is a drinking water point at Fonte Pian di Berro, 0.8 kilometers from the start, to ensure you stay hydrated throughout the challenging hike.
