Located in a stunning natural area, the hike to Couloir Fleur is an extremely difficult 14.857-kilometer route that will challenge even experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 656 meters, this trail will take around 5 hours to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will encounter several points of interest along the way. About 6.33 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the beautiful Lac de la Fare, followed by Lac Carrelet at 2.73 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, you'll find Lac Besson at 0.4 kilometers from the start and the Chalet du Lac Besson right at the beginning of the trail for a quick refreshment stop.
As you continue your journey, be sure to stop by the Refuge de la Fare at 4.37 kilometers from the start for a well-deserved rest. You'll also pass by Abri Rajon at 6.1 kilometers from the start, offering a sheltered spot for a break.
Throughout the hike, you'll encounter various water bodies such as Lac du Milieu, Lac Lamat, and Lac Noir, adding to the scenic beauty of the route.
For a quick bite, La Grange Restaurant at 3.12 kilometers from the start and Auberge de l'Alpette at 2.81 kilometers from the start are great options for a meal with a view.
