Welcome to the Alter Roßbergweg hiking route! This moderate 6.7-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 441 meters will take you through the beautiful landscape of the area.

At the beginning of the route, you will find the Kammeregg Parkplatz parking area where you can leave your vehicle. As you start your hike, you'll come across the Alpe Kammeregg alpine hut, located 0.38 kilometers from the start point. This cozy hut is a great place to take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Continuing along the trail, at 2.39 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Grüntenhütte alpine hut. Here, you can stop for a meal while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Around 3.27 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter the Gigglstein peak and a rocky area, adding a sense of adventure to your journey. Further along the trail, you'll also come across historical points of interest such as wayside crosses and informational signs providing insight into the area's rich heritage.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to visit the Kammereggalpe biergarten, located 0.38 kilometers from the end of the trail. Here, you can relax and unwind after a rewarding hike.
