Welcome to the Cheller hiking route, a challenging and extremely difficult 21.3-kilometer circular trail that will take you on a scenic journey through the stunning landscapes of the area.
As you start your hike, you will come across a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail, ensuring easy access for hikers. Around 3.07 kilometers into the route, you will reach Lago Pianei Inferiore, a beautiful water feature where you can take a moment to admire the tranquil surroundings.
Continuing on, at the 5.17-kilometer mark, you will encounter the peak of Pizzo del Büsin, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. As you approach the 10.07-kilometer point, you will pass by two more water sources, providing a refreshing break along the way.
At the 3.83-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Monte della Preja, offering another picturesque spot to take in the natural beauty of the area. Further along the trail, at 4.36 kilometers, you will come across Passo della Preja, a saddle point providing a unique vantage point of the landscape.
As you near the end of the hike, at 5.95 kilometers, you will reach Passo del Büsin, another saddle point offering stunning views of the surrounding terrain. Finally, at the 3.36-kilometer mark, you will encounter Bocchetta dei Pianei, a saddle point that marks your journey back towards the starting point.
This challenging route involves a total elevation gain of 1497 meters, so be prepared for steep inclines and rugged terrain. It is essential to bring an ample water supply, snacks, and suitable hiking gear.
