Hiking : Punta di Caldane

This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to Punta di Caldane, starting from the viewpoint near the parking area. The trail spans a distance of 12.571 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1007 meters, so be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks.

As you follow the trail, you will pass by Caldane, a peak that is approximately 6.2 kilometers from the start. Further along the path, you will come across Auberge des deux vallées, a restaurant situated about 1.01 kilometers from the start, offering a place to refuel during your journey.

Continuing on, you will reach Col d'Arcarota, a saddle also located 1.01 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you may want to take a detour to admire the stunning views from Monte Muffraje, situated around 5.01 kilometers from the trail.

Upon reaching Punta di Caldane, don't forget to take in the breathtaking panoramic views before starting your journey back. Remember to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike, and make sure you are well-prepared for the demanding terrain and length of the trail.
