This extremely difficult 14.63-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you through the scenic area of D 639. Be prepared for an elevation gain of 929 meters and a duration of approximately 5 hours and 42 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Favalta spring at around 5.33 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 1.97 kilometers, you will find the ruins of the ancient église Saint-Nicolas. Make sure to stop by the Favalta shelter at 5.39 kilometers for a rest.

On your way back, don't forget to hydrate at the drinking water point located 0.11 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you can enjoy panoramic views at the viewpoint 7.32 kilometers in and another viewpoint at 0.03 kilometers from the start.
