Welcome to the hiking route of "Derech HaNachoshet" in the Eilot Regional Council area. This circular route offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the beauty of the region while enjoying various points of interest along the way.
Starting off at the trailhead, you will find convenient parking available. As you begin your hike, you will come across the ancient ruins of "Mekarot Atikim" just a short distance away. These archaeological sites provide a glimpse into the area's rich history.
Continuing on, at around 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the impressive "Hakshatot" (arches), a unique attraction worth exploring. Further along the trail, at approximately 0.24 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
As you approach the halfway point of the hike, at 0.66 kilometers from the start, you will come across another viewpoint with even more breathtaking scenery. Additionally, there is a cave entrance known as "Ma'arat HaKorim" close by, adding a sense of adventure to the journey.
At around 0.51 kilometers from the start, you will find the archaeological site of "HaTzalchot" and at 0.53 kilometers, the ancient ruins of "Piri Kriya." These sites offer a fascinating look into the region's past.
