This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historic landmarks. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 1.606 kilometers and an elevation gain of 125 meters, making it easy for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will first come across the Izvor restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before starting your hike. As you continue on the trail, you'll pass by the Cetatea Râșnov castle, located about 0.71 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at around 0.58 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Muzeu and Audioguide rent services, offering more information about the area and its history. As you hike, be sure to stop by the Bistro Sub Cetate for a quick snack. The route also features several viewpoints, including the Panorama viewpoint at about 0.72 kilometers from the start.
