Welcome to the hiking route to Postăvaru Peak! This challenging trail spans a distance of 6.032 kilometers with an elevation gain of 719 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.

The trail begins at a parking area just 0.03 kilometers from the starting point. As you embark on your journey, you will pass by Yager Chalet, an alpine hut located 2.29 kilometers into the hike, offering a picturesque resting spot along the way.

Midway through the hike, at 1.62 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Lacul Poiana Ruia, a beautiful water feature perfect for a brief stop to take in the serene surroundings.

Continuing on, at 3.02 kilometers from the start, you will reach Cristianu Peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from its vantage point.

As you near the end of the trail, just 0.28 kilometers from the start, you will come across a natural spring, providing a refreshing drink of water for weary hikers.

At the destination of Postăvaru Peak, standing tall at 3.02 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment for conquering this challenging hike.
