Welcome to the hiking route to Cristianu peak!

This challenging hike covers a distance of 4.908 kilometers with an elevation gain of 639 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 44 minutes to complete. The trail starts at Lacul Poiana Ruia, a beautiful alpine lake located 1.62 kilometers from the beginning of the route.

As you make your way up the mountain, you will pass by Yager Chalet at the 2.21-kilometer mark, where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. The route also features a refreshing spring at 0.28 kilometers from the start, providing a perfect spot to refill your water bottle.

At the peak of Cristianu, located 2.45 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and valleys below. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sturdy hiking shoes for this difficult trek.
