Welcome to the hiking route to Niedersachsenhaus! This route is located in a beautiful alpine area with stunning views and challenging terrain.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Ammererhof restaurant, a perfect spot to grab a quick bite before hitting the trail. The trail will then lead you past a refreshing water source, followed by the Barbarafall waterfall, where you can take in the sights and sounds of cascading water.

Midway through your hike, you will reach the Eisklettern climbing spot, a popular destination for thrill-seekers looking to conquer the ice. Further along the trail, you will pass by the Naturfreundehaus Neubau alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views.

Towards the end of the hike, you will encounter the Riffelscharte saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you make your way back, you will find Sonnblickbasis alpine hut, a perfect resting spot before completing the loop.

With a distance of 8.902 kilometers and an elevation gain of 833 meters, this hike is rated as difficult. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and wear sturdy hiking boots. Don't forget to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
