This extremely difficult 12.18-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Grande Aiguille Rousse peak. The trail starts at a parking area with no fee, located at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the challenging path, you will encounter a natural water source at the midway point, providing a refreshing spot to rest and refill your water bottles. About 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by the Rifugio Pian della Ballotta alpine hut, where you can take a break and admire the surrounding natural beauty.
