This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Grande Aiguille Rousse in the picturesque area. The trail is 12.18 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1146 meters, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across a water feature at the beginning of the trail, providing a refreshing sight and a chance to fill up your water bottle. Around the 6.09 kilometer mark, you will reach the Grande Aiguille Rousse peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you will also encounter a historic wayside cross at the same location as the peak, adding a cultural touch to your hike. If you need a break, there is a charming alpine hut, Rifugio Pian della Ballotta, at the 1.5 kilometer mark where you can rest and refuel.

For those interested in nature, there is a waterfall located 1.54 kilometers from the start of the trail, which is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area. Additionally, a saddle known as Col de la Vache / Passo della Vacca is situated 3.52 kilometers from the start, providing a unique geological feature to explore.
