Muntto

This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area of Muntto, offering a 4.5-kilometer trek with an elevation gain of 368 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. The hike is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at the same point.

As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest. At the very start of the trail, you will find convenient parking spaces to leave your vehicle. Further along, around 90 meters from the start, you will encounter the Centro de visitantes, where you can find valuable information about the area.

Continuing on, you will pass by a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles. At around 90 meters from the start, you will find the first of many picnic sites, ideal for a rest or enjoying a snack with a view. As you trek onwards, you may come across the Plazaolako bidea Leitzaran bailaran, where you can learn more about the surrounding landscape.

Around the midway point of the hike, approximately 2 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Cromlech Muntto, an archaeological site rich in history. Here, you can take a moment to explore and appreciate the heritage of the area.

Near the end of the trail, about 2.27 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Muntto, offering stunning panoramic views as a rewarding endpoint.
