Hiking : Schneespitze - Monte della Neve

This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Schneespitze - Monte della Neve peak in the beautiful area. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a total distance of 16.904 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1646 meters.

You'll start your journey at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure. At the beginning of the trail, you'll encounter the picturesque Wasserfall "in der Hölle" waterfall, adding a refreshing touch to your hike.

As you continue along the trail, at a distance of 2.03 kilometers from the start, you'll pass by the cozy Furtalm restaurant. It's a great spot to take a break and refuel before pushing on. Further along, at 3.76 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the Schafhütte alpine hut, perfect for a rest stop or even an overnight stay if you're looking to break up your trek.

Around the halfway mark, at 5.12 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Magdeburger Hütte - Rif. Cremona alla Stua, where you can enjoy some sustenance and take in the scenic views. Nearby, at 4.97 kilometers from the start, lies the Vorderer Stubensee - Lago della Stua, offering a tranquil spot to relax by the water.

Continuing on, at 6.76 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Hinterer Stubensee, another beautiful body of water along the trail. As you approach the end of the route, at 8.45 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the impressive Schneespitze - Monte della Neve peak, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Throughout this challenging hike, make sure to stay hydrated and pack plenty of water and snacks. Additionally, check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable trek. Be prepared for a physically demanding journey, but the stunning views and natural beauty along the way make it all worthwhile.
