The Stubaier Höhenweg is an extremely difficult hiking route spanning a distance of 14.041 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1524 meters. The trail is an out-and-back type, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Starting the hike, you'll pass by Autenalm, a restaurant located 3.37 kilometers from the trail start. Further along the path at 5.86 kilometers, you'll reach Zwölfernieder, a natural saddle providing a scenic spot to rest and take in the views.

As you continue on, at 7.02 kilometers, you'll come across a viewpoint at an ideal vantage point to capture the stunning landscapes. Along the way, you'll also encounter several benches to take breaks and enjoy the surroundings.

Throughout the hike, be sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water and snacks as there are limited facilities available along the trail. It is recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.

For a more immersive experience, consider visiting Franz-Senn-Denkmal, a historic memorial situated 0.75 kilometers from the trail, offering a glimpse into the area's past.
