This extremely difficult hiking route leads you to the breathtaking Kalkwand peak. The 9.636-kilometer route has an elevation gain of 1243 meters and takes approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the Feuerstein restaurant just 0.06 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you'll come across the Innsbrucker Hütte alpine hut at 3.81 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy retreat for hikers. Further along the trail, at the 3.81-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Pinnisjoch saddle, providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape.
Along the way, you'll encounter various informational points and benches for resting and enjoying the scenery. At the 4.3-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Kalkwand peak, a natural highlight of the hike.
