Welcome to the hiking route in Ofenwald - Saalbach-Hinterglemm! This trail is approximately 20.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1028 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. The estimated duration for this hike is around 7 hours and 20 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking areas labeled as P2 and various water sources approximately 2.58 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will encounter shelters for resting and refueling located at different distances from the start, such as one at 2.08 kilometers and another at 2.55 kilometers.

Midway through the hike, at around 10.15 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source followed by more water sources at 10.11 and 10.28 kilometers. Additionally, there is a wayside shrine at 0.42 kilometers into the hike and another one at 0.18 kilometers.

For further exploration, you can visit the Gasteg peak located 8.8 kilometers from the start. At around 0.34 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point available to provide insights into the surroundings. Further along, you will find restaurants called Liebe Heimat and Restaurant Tiroler Buam for a well-deserved meal after the challenging hike.
