This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is 11.442 kilometers with an elevation gain of 791 meters, making it a difficult trail that will test your endurance.

You will start your journey at a parking area located at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are no other amenities along the way. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before heading out, as the conditions can change quickly in mountainous regions.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 3.74 kilometers from the start, you will reach Monte le Costarelle, a peak that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, at around 5.72 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Poggio Prato Tondo, another peak with panoramic views.

At 3.88 kilometers from the start, you will pass by a saddle, offering a nice resting spot before continuing on your journey. Finally, at 4.6 kilometers from the start, you will find Monte Strega, a viewpoint that is slightly off the trail but worth the extra effort for the amazing views it provides.

This route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. The total duration of the hike is estimated to be around 4 hours and 37 minutes.
