As you start your journey, you will come across the Ruins of Château de Montbel at about 1.6 kilometers from the trailhead. These historic ruins offer a glimpse into the past and are located just a short distance from the trail, making it a great place to explore. Further along the path, at 0.73 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Le Châtelard, a picturesque village steeped in history with informative signage to enrich your hiking experience.

Throughout the hike, you will also pass by Parking des côtes Bel Air, a convenient parking spot located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great place to leave your vehicle before embarking on your adventure.
