This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Pena Chana peak in the stunning area of Parque Natural Las Ubiñas-La Mesa. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 6.327 kilometers with an elevation gain of 778 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you will come across some points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. Around 0.12 kilometers into the hike, there is the Bar de Tuiza de Arriba cafe where you can grab a quick snack or drink before continuing on.
Further along the trail, approximately 3.16 kilometers in, you will encounter the majestic Pena Chana peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Around 1.37 kilometers into the hike, there is a refreshing spring, Fuente del Aguilón, where you can refill your water supply. Near the end of the trail, at 2.61 kilometers, you will reach a saddle point with stunning panoramic views.
