This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Refugio del Meicín. The trail is 4.102 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 321 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can safely leave your vehicle. As you make your way, you will encounter the Bar de Tuiza de Arriba, a cozy cafe perfect for a quick snack or drink. Further along, you will pass by a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Centro de información del Parque Natural Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, where you can learn more about the area and its history. Just a short distance away, you will find Fuente la Sirrieḷḷa, a drinking water source to refill your bottle.
Near the end of the trail, you will come across the Nidos de ametralladoras, a historic battlefield from the Spanish Civil War. Take some time to explore this significant site before heading back.
