Hiking : Veliki Črnec

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Veliki Črnec. The trail is 4.122 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 202 meters, making it relatively easy and suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Planinarski dom Ivica Sudnik, an alpine hut located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Further along the path, about 0.74 kilometers from the start, you will find the Gustules spring, a natural spring where you can refill your water bottles.

At around 2.06 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Veliki Črnec peak. This is the highest point of the trail and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Be sure to take some time to soak in the beauty of the landscape before heading back.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, as there are limited water sources along the trail. Additionally, it is always a good idea to check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
