This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Monte Tremoggia. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 7.269 kilometers and an elevation gain of 751 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge seasoned hikers.
As you start your hike, you will find parking areas available at the beginning of the trail, so you can easily leave your vehicle and begin your adventure. About 0.2 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Camping Fonte Vetica, where you can rest and enjoy the natural surroundings. Further along the trail, at 0.32 kilometers in, you will reach Fonte Vetica, a refreshing spring where you can refill your water bottles.
Continuing on, at the same distance point as Fonte Vetica, you will find Rifugio Fonte Vetica, an alpine hut where you can take a break and soak in the mountain views. About 1.95 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Sella di Fonte Fredda, a picturesque saddle that offers stunning panoramic views of the area.
As you near the end of the hike, at 3.25 kilometers in, you will reach the highlight of the trek, Monte Tremoggia, a majestic peak that rewards hikers with breathtaking views at the summit.
