As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead. About 0.29 kilometers into the hike, you will find a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Further along the trail, at around 0.84 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint called "מצפה שער הגיא" which offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Additionally, at about 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a natural water source called "עין מסילה" where you can refill your water bottle. Another drinking water point is located at 0.29 kilometers from the start to keep you hydrated throughout the hike.

Along the way, you will also pass by significant historic landmarks, including the memorial site "אנדרטת מח\"ל" and "הגדוד החמישי", which commemorate important events and individuals.
