Welcome to the hiking route around התאנה (Fig Tree)! This circular route covers a distance of approximately 3.05 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey through the picturesque landscape. Just a short distance from the trail, you will come across עין ירד (Ein Yarad), a beautiful spring where you can take a refreshing break and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Around 0.3 kilometers from the start, you will encounter עין ורד תל גזר (Ein Vard Tel Gezer), an information point that provides insights into the surrounding area and its historical significance.

As you continue along the trail, at approximately 1.03 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the ancient archaeological site of מחצבות עתיקות (Ancient Quarries), offering a glimpse into the past. About 1.52 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint at פסגת נחלים (Peak Nachalim), where you can marvel at breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape.

Although there is a picnic site 1.11 kilometers into the hike, it is located slightly off the trail. Remember to pack enough water and snacks for your adventure and take regular breaks to rest and refuel. Check the weather forecast before setting out and wear appropriate footwear for the terrain.
