The trail starts at the 12er Express parking area, where you can begin your journey towards the Zwölferkogel peak. As you make your way along the path, you'll encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll come across the Hl. Thomas-Kapelle shrine, offering a peaceful spot for contemplation.

Further along the route, about 2.76 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Winkler Alm restaurant where you can refuel and take in the surrounding views. Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.13 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Zwölfer-Treff pub and the Zwölferkogel peak, providing stunning panoramic vistas of the area.

For those seeking a break, the Breitfußalm restaurant and Breitfußalm alpine hut offer cozy spots to rest and grab a bite to eat.
