This extremely difficult 13.606-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Saalbachkogel area.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the Speicherteich Gerstreit lake at the beginning of your journey, offering a picturesque view just 1.01 kilometers from the start. As you make your way through the challenging terrain, you'll come across the Bergstadl restaurant and alpine hut around 1.98 kilometers from the starting point, providing a perfect spot to take a break.

Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the Hacklbergalm restaurant at 4.88 kilometers from the start, where you can refuel and rest before continuing your adventure. Further along the trail, you'll pass by Seetörl saddle at 6.18 kilometers, offering a unique natural landmark to admire.

As you reach the latter part of the hike, you'll find yourself near Saalbachkogel peak at 6.69 kilometers from the start, offering a rewarding panoramic view of the surrounding area. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty before completing the loop.
