This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 12.672 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1155 meters. The duration of the hike is estimated to be around 5 hours and 49 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 0.34 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water point to refill your bottle. As you continue, you will come across the Wayside Cross, a historic site located 4.26 kilometers into the hike.
Near the midway point of the trail, approximately 6.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col de Mille, a scenic saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Just a bit further, at 6.34 kilometers, is the Cabane de Mille, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some rest.
On the way back, you can stop by La Channe, a restaurant located 0.17 kilometers from the trail. Additionally, at the trailhead, there is a parking area available 0 kilometers away for your convenience.
