This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the stunning mountainous area surrounding Cabane de Mille. The trail spans 12.672 kilometers in length and ascends 1155 meters in elevation, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by La Channe, a nearby restaurant just 0.17 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you'll come across several information points providing valuable insights into the area's history and natural surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the historic ruins nestled just 4.3 kilometers from the start, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past. Along the way, you'll also encounter a wayside cross and a drinking water point to replenish your supply.
As you approach the endpoint at Cabane de Mille, located approximately 6.34 kilometers from the trailhead, you'll be met with breathtaking views and a well-deserved rest at the alpine hut. Here, you can refuel and recharge before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
