This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural views. The trail is 13.249 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 719 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. About 1.6 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Chalet-Refuge Le Ratou, an alpine hut where you can take a break and maybe even spend the night if you're planning a longer trek.
Further along the trail, approximately 6.62 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water source, providing a refreshing spot to rest and replenish your supplies. As you continue, at around 3.07 kilometers from the start, you'll find another water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles.
Near the end of the trail, about 5 kilometers from the start, there is another parking area where you can safely leave your vehicle. Additionally, along the way, you will come across informative spots like Les Gindres and Chalet du Ratou, offering insights into the local area and wildlife.
