Hiking : Monte Mason

Italy Friuli – Venezia Giulia Pordenone

This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Monte Mason area. The total distance of the hike is 6.327 kilometers with an elevation gain of 609 meters, making it a difficult trail best suited for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Spiaggia Cerdevol Curnila beach at the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, you will pass by the Cuel Tarondin peak, located approximately 1.94 kilometers from the start. As you continue, the highlight of the hike, Monte Mason peak, will be at a distance of 3.16 kilometers from the starting point.

Along the way back, you will encounter the historic Wayside Cross at 1.48 kilometers from the start and the Wayside Shrine at 0.99 kilometers. Be sure to take a break at the Picnic Site located 0.4 kilometers from the trailhead before reaching the cave entrances at 1.0 and 0.26 kilometers respectively.
